Dean sighed in relief along with Bobby, in unison as she agreed to let them help her. Dean’s face fell into a gentle smile as she downed the last of her drink. He was more than relieved that she seemed calm, and willing to work with them. He glanced over at Bobby and gave him a smiling nod. As Mika spoke again, however, Dean sniffled, showing that his nose was at least trying to open, and shook his head, “There’s nothing you can do about the night terrors. We all know that. But if there’s something that you can do to tone them down, just enough to not hurt…yourself.” He tightened his arms around her, pulling her head down to rest on his shoulder as he rubbed her back and Bobby leaned back in his recliner, thankful more than ever to have Dean in the house. This was something he had been worried for Dean to see, only because he knew how much Mika wanted to keep it from him. But Dean reacted, and took the bump in the road like a champ, only responding with the love that was unmistakeable. It was against his tough exterior, and Bobby knew how uncomfortable Dean would be if anyone outside of the house saw him being a kind caretaker. But here, his secret was safe. “I’m gonna throw on a Western, and get ready to hang the phones back up…”, Bobby quipped, taking another drink of his Scotch, “You two are more than welcome to join, or head back to bed. I know Mika will be out like a light in about twenty minutes.”
