Dean Winchester
Dean was thankful that Esme didn’t curl away from him, but rather invited his taking of her arm, like she always did when he was uncomfortable, and struggling. He needed to be near her, romantic or not, and needed the touch to keep sane as a million images rolled through his mind. “I won’t let her attack you, or anything. Her beef is with me. I initiated everything, tonight. She knows that…”, he muttered, realizing that Esme was at least partially scared of Mika’s mental state. He couldn’t lie, he was too. He half expected to show back up at Bobby’s to more vicious and drunk violence at the hands of the love of his life. He hoped that wasn’t the case, as they hadn’t been physical in ages. Dean heard the soft melody playing as Esme tensed up on his arm. He was just about to ask her what was going on, now, when his eyes were pinned straight forward. He couldn’t turn. He couldn’t stop walking. He could only look forward or to his feet as the music continued and Esme started singing. It was as if she was singing to a memory of him. He felt her arm fall from his as he took in the words she was singing, swallowing hard. He wanted to turn to her as she sang, tears stinging the corners of his eyes. He still remembered the December day, just after Christmas, when she left him. Just a note, all of her things missing, no warning. He remembered her voice on the phone, as he listened to her voicemail greeting play over…and over…and over. His breath hitched in his throat as she admitted through song that she had missed him, as well as regretted their time apart, and how she realized what she lost. He closed his eyes tightly, fighting against the force that made him move forward. Once again, Dean wanted to run to her, shut her up with anything he could, but he kept walking. “I swear I’d love you right." The words hit him like a ton of bricks, and he was finally able to break the trance enough to turn his body slowly, shifting his weight to one foot as the final chorus played. He swallowed heavily, and stared at her with his sad teary eyes, waiting for her to close the gap between them. He walked backward, but then stopped in the middle of the roadway. As she approached, he stepped up to her, taking her face in both his hands, and kissed her forehead. He then pulled her into a desperately tight hug.
Bobby
Bobby groaned at hearing that Mika drove back drunk, and nearly killed herself. He wasn’t all that surprised, considering how she and Dean tended to be in the midst of their many fights with one another. “Well, you took her keys, I assume…”, Bobby sighed, looking around the room to make sure he had what he needed for a quick sober up drink for Mika, if she needed it. She would eventually be in front of him, and he would pick up the pieces of Dean’s mistakes like every other time. “Let her have her space, if she needs it. After a good cry, I’ll sober her up…”, he muttered once more, leaning back in his chair, “You want a drink? We ain’t got much else to do, until Dean comes busting that door down.”
Cason
Cason saw cupid land on the roof, staring down at him with a gleeful smile, as the music began playing around him, “I was right! You son of a bitch…” His eyes clicked to black, just as Mika began singing. His eyes coming back to normal out of the pure confusion on his face as she sang the lyrics to him, he glanced around him, wondering where Dean Winchester was, in all of this. “Mika…wait a second. Mika, please. Dean is on his wa-“, Cason shook his head, holding his hands out to her as she approached him. If he had learned anything about tonight, it was to take the song at face value. She wanted to have sex with him…hard. He gulped as her hands grabbed his jacket, pulling him to her. “Mika. This is a horrible idea…”, he whispered, his lips dangerously close to hers as she kept singing, and his chest tightened. He landed harshly against the leather back seat, looking up at her with a terrified but turned on look as she crawled onto his lap. Seeing that he was fighting back, Cupid snapped his fingers, forcing Cason to run his hands up her thighs and to the button of her jeans, before sitting up and kissing down her neck, onto her collar bone as she removed his jacket. He pulled away from her with a gasp as she whipped his shirt over his head, “Holy shit…Dean Winchester is going to kill me…” He kissed her hungrily back, his fingers making quick work of her jacket and shirt. At least if he was going to die, he could get off with someone who seemed to want him badly. The windows of the pretty blue Impala fogged quickly as Cupid smiled, satisfied at the situation, although he had a pang in the pit of his stomach that said this was all wrong. Was he wrong?
Annabeth
“At least now you have someone who understands what you’re going through. I’m not judging you. I would do it all over again, if it meant keeping you safe. All of you.”, she whispered, leaning against his hand. “But, I’m scared for you, and I’m scared to lose you, at this point. I wish I had never left you, all those years ago. I didn’t go with my gut, and I’ve missed you every day since that day…believe it or not.”, she explained, bringing a hand up to place it over the back of his hand on her face. “The fact that you trusted me enough to come down here tells me everything I need to know.”, she leaned her face up close to his, now that the demon blood was cleared, and pressed her lips against his gently, letting the kiss linger with a sigh.
