Mikaela had quietly motioned for Xander to follow her into the living room. If she was being honest with herself, she was relieved to have had company, though if shit hit the fan, she could very well end up on her own. "I just don't get people's fascinations with clowns...was it about them?" Mikaela shook her head, primarily speaking to herself. However, the moment Xander started going on about swords, she rolled her eyes, turning to gaze over at him. "Maybe because the guys [i]wielding[/] the swords are dweebs, very much like yourself," she added matter-of-factly, crossing her arms in front of her. Just then, she heard Adele's cry for help after one of the nearby doors slammed shut. "Holy shit..." Mikaela's heart nearly skipped a beat. She looked over at Xander with an expression not often witnessed. Scared out of her mind for what seemed like an eternity, Mikaela was finally able to speak once more when Evan joined them and chimed in with his two cents. "Hey, watch your damn tone, none of us did anything!" Mikaela subconsciously walked in front of Xander in a protective manner, her fear subsiding momentarily. "Just because Adele is on the other side of that door doesn't mean we are the ones responsible!"
