Dean mulled over in his head the thought of a skin walker moving around outside of New Mexico. They tended to be very loyal to their hunting grounds, but considering they were human, at some point in their day, it wouldn’t be that big of a stretch that a young skin walker would be willing to leave, and run off on their own. He also thought back to the Wendigo that killed Mika’s parents and he swallowed hard. “After we figure out what kind of animal it is, we can head to a gun store. I’m sure they have some big firepower…and we’re definitely going to need it, if my gut is correct.”, he chimed in, knowing that the grunt work was easier for him to do, than the people work, “And as far as I remember, skin walkers are basically just werewolves that can change into other things at will…so silver and a little patience, and we’re clear in this.” Dean stepped closer to Mika. He was feeling confident but also nervous, like she was. If this was a skin walker of a larger or faster animal, it could smell trouble. If it wasn’t a skin walker, they could be stuck hanging around for a few days at the least, which meant more chance for trouble, and more chance for one of them to do something stupid. “I’m sure he knows someone over at the crime lab. We could have him send the hair over there, run it through a few databases, and give them our cards?”, he suggested in a question, leaning down to catch her eyes.
