Dean nodded his head at the fact that the coroner was being less than thorough with them, but quickly laughed when she mentioned his stomach complaining for a change, “But you exist on rabbit food and light beer. Of course you’re never hungry…” As they exited the room and walked to the coroner’s office, Dean adjusted his face back to the stoic and intimidating young agent. He leaned his head back, watching the coroner over his the ridge of his nose as Mika gave him the orders, and pulled his own wallet out. He flipped through the mass of business cards within his wallet, and finally pulled the one with his current alias, handing it to the coroner with two fingers, his face unflinching. He then gave a simple nod to the man, and turned to follow Mika as she left the room. He leaned in close to her ear with a smirk, “I kinda like playing the guard dog…It makes me feel like one of those sexy renegades from those cop shows. Warm and fuzzies…” He gave a small laugh, reaching forward to open a corridor door for her, as they entered the reception area. He leaned down again, placing his hand gently against her lower back, “And you’re a good boss…” Opening the front door for her, he waited for her to step through, before following her outside, taking a breath of fresh air.
