Delbrook is the first one he's stayed at consecutively for since the second grade. He's been attending D.A. since sophomore year, nearly having gotten kicked out within the first couple of months until his father paid off the school to keep him in. Benny has always had a hard life. With a family that is deeply rooted in the Sureños [sub](a.k.a. Southern United Raza, Sur13, Sureños x13)[/sub], a group that loosely pays tribute to the Mexican Mafia that holds affiliations with the Gulf Cartel, Benny is always sure to keep his head down. At least enough so that there are not cops involved, though he has no problem with (and rather enjoys) getting into fights... Though he is not officially in the gang, his father has big plans for him and keeps him up to date on the happenings of it all. It's expected that Benny will be initiated in, and the thought (privately) terrifies Benny, but he keeps on a fake face for his father and does what is asked of him.
