Trish smiled wider and headed for the front door, running so fast she barely missed running into other things along the way. The shadows moved again and reached her other wounds now, healing faster in the darkness. She glowed silver now, the shadows making quick work of her injuries. John sighed and rubbed his temples, the pounding slowing a little. He closed his eyes and tried to relax a little but this was one thing he wasn’t very good at. Relaxing.
