My dad ran over a bunny burrow one summer when he was mowing the lawn. I actually teared up a little when I heard the babies didn't make it. Yes, the mother had run off before then, but still, I felt bad. They were just babies. 

Anyway, my dad gave them a burial by burying the burrow with dirt and left it there.
