However, he mainly favors melee, with the exception of the bow and has come to love heavy bowguns with Wyvernheart capacity. Currently he's running with a Alqaws al-Nasr

However, it's a peculiar and rather old greatsword that's something of his signature weapon. Seldom know of those letters mean, and he's rather vague about it too. The town or his lineage aren't of an exceptional notice. His village however had its share of hunters passing through his family's pub. Their wildly varied armor and weapons caught his eyes and eventual interest into this lifestyle and profession. He'd use his family's money for a cheap armor set and a starter weapon. Slowly but surely he'd climb the guild's ranks. Starting from a seemingly endless amounts of delivery quest, a couple fights with ornery drones, and finally to larger and more dangerous monsters. He'd find himself comfortably operating out in Dondruma. he rather liked the tropical climate and the city itself was rather charming with its derelict appearance. He also became a fan of its unique take on the arena. In spite of how different it was, he was a little surprised how it didn't spread to more places. Regardless, more time would pass and he'd come across news from the guild for volunteers for a voyage, the destination would be a place he never knew of, and the time spent there would be labeled "long term". Craving a new experience and finding himself with no commitments he would sign up as part of the first fleet. Astera was and continues to be an amazing place. Of course it was so much more different than it is now. He remembered how it was just more of a glorified camp than the pseudo-town it became. He remembers the stripping of the boats to convert into building materials. He also remember the time he thought being seasick from the storm's violently churning waters only for it to end with the ship being launched by wave to the mountain and lodging itself there. Filo's contributions to the early days were resource gathering, construction, and exploration on top of hunting whatever got too close to camp. Exploring was his favorite part as it let him simply disappear for a long time and enjoy the splendor of this uncharted world. It was also a lot different due to natural barriers. Of course this would change with the arrival of the fifth fleet and the Zora Magdoras who opened up a lot of new paths by plowing the environs. This would be the most exciting time ever second to his arrival. So many new elder dragons being discovered which would also culminate in the fight with Shara Isvalda. Although he was not present for the battle, he contributed in the background with preparations and reports. The ensuing calm was a change of pace. Everything was more or less neatly wrapped up. Filo found himself with a great wanderlust that urged him to leave and see more of the world. As much as he loved being here also wanted something different. He'd head back to the mainland for a while. It was a bittersweet experience as it was him mostly visiting family and friends. So much time has passed with things happening that he wished he was there for. But yet, he really couldn't regret his decision for he had experienced things very few people would ever do. His time on the mainland would be cut short, as a message from Astera asking for his expertise would summon him back. At the very least Astera and the mainland were less isolated now so it would be easier to be connected to whatever was happening on the mainland.
