Being a hunter she was often told to be a little more stoic and should only care for her fellow huntresses but she honestly could not just bring herself to do that, especially since her father was such a kind enough man to tell her that she should always be good to people because spreading kindness is better than spreading hate. In some ways this has come to bite her in the bum but even with all of that she just does not stop. Artemis would sometimes see her as a weakness but in most times she has proven that even she was wrong sometimes, and being the Artemis she only [i]sometimes[/i] took kindly to that.

She may be one of the nicest people but she knows what she is doing, she is careful and is one hell of a planner. People often turn to her if they need to get somewhere safely, she knows every ins and outs of a place just by looking at it. [/sub][/indent][/color]

[color=silver][indent][sub]Claire was lucky enough to grow up with a very loving father, even with her mother leaving she was still able to keep in touch especially with how much her father cared for the young girl. Dear Selene even left a ring for the girl to remember her by. On most nights growing up she would sit outside on the porch of her house and talk to the moon for hours, knowing all too well that her mother would be listening.

It was never her and father in these years of growing up, she grew up with her father's sister who she lovingly called Aunt Maria who would stay with her when her father was at work, who would let her help in making dinner and help in doing homework. Along with Aunt Maria was a man who called himself Quentin, she did not know much about Quentin other than him needing crutches to walk and having a funny accent. She never had bad times when she was around these people.

Years latrer, this was when things started going bad, it was foggy and raining, on the drive home from school; it was her, her father, and Quentin in the car, he said he needed to drop by somewhere which was along the way so her father offered to give him a ride. But then something heavy landed on the roof of their car and soon talons pierced the roof and ripped open the top, grabbing at the young Claire. Her father than swerved the car to try and shake off the harpy but when it slid a little to the side its talons caught the tire and they soon came to a full stop. They all got of the car and her father immediately ran to protect her along with Quentin. It was a huge scuffle but after a while her father had gotten a hold of the Harpy who was clawing and screaming at him and he yelled to throw the ring at them. As Claire threw the ring through the air towards them, it transformed into a dagger mid air and pierced the monster right through the heart with her father behind it. She ran to see if he was alright only to see the dagger pass through him like it was nothing. Her father then looked at Quentin and nodded at him, he was to take her to camp half-blood to keep her safe, after all he was a Satyr all along.

On the way to the Camp, they met up with the hunters of Artemis and dear Artemis herself gave her the choice to go to the camp or come with them. She did not even think much about it, she simply said yes without even seeing the camp first, what lead her to do this she would never know. She took her oath, gave Quentin a very heartfelt goodbye and soon she never saw the Satyr for another 4 years; When Artemis asked her if she wanted to see Camp Half-Blood, she agreed almost immediately but Artemis soon followed it by saying that she would be the Goddess' eyes to what they are up to, and if Claire wanted to participate in any of the activities, she could but only if she reported to her at least once a week.
