Caelan smiled at Sophie as she twirled the dress. She had not been super expressive with her words, but he can tell by her genuine expression and the way her eyes lit up that she had been very pleased with the dress. He was happy to have a hand in doing so. It wasn’t long after that Rosaria started to lead them out of the city, which took a few minutes. He had tapped Sophie’s shoulder to get her attention and then walked along.

After they went through the gates of the Kingdom, they moved outside into a wooded area, quickly moving away from the dirt road. The jungle was hot and humid. Caelan was not used to this and it bothered him quite a lot. He didn’t speak much as he was too fascinated with the many different trees and plants.
