You do not have to wait at all! I have stated that once characters are approved you can start posting anytime! This world is going to mainly be a free-range world except for major plot points that happen! Which will be coming up once people start posting. 

The first plot point was the news station/radio IC post for the Atlas society. Everyone on the surface will be running around for a little bit.
