A “miracle child”. A reward for years of service without fail or hesitation, the gift for their devotion, and the most fitting receptacle to perfect their teachings in. A girl born only for the sake of a single purpose. Born into the Assembly, introduced to the other side of the Holy Church the moment she was old enough to understand and set into the path of the Executor from childhood. However, despite seeming like the course of her life was dictated from the very start, it is not something she ever found disagreeable. Direction is needed in life — to devote yourself to something, to have a purpose to achieve, those are things that everyone seeks for at some point, so in some ways, she feels that the fact that she never had to look any further than what was in front of her is proof that she was blessed. When it comes to interacting with others, she is innocent, kind-hearted and full of simple joy, though she can come across as being a bit anxious because of lack of experience. Because she has unshakeable trust in the fundamental goodness of people, she doesn’t act coldly or deny anyone, believing that even those who lost their way are still worthy of simple sympathy despite their actions — nobody is undeserving of simple help. Yes. Help. After all, is that not what she was raised and trained to do? Those who are lost, those who are forgotten, those who have strayed, those who are cursed, even those who should not exist. She will accept them all without issue and administer them properly. Heaven through violence. Liberation through abolition. Absolution through obliteration. Even the most beautiful flowers have thorns. In this case, however— It is more like a lily made of pure steel. MAGECRAFT Circuit Quantity: D Circuit Quality: E Composition: Abnormal. Growths along the inner channels have resulted in the creation of organic constructions which greatly increase the filtration rate, working to clear out all impurities not just from extraneous sources, but also those in one’s own magical energy as it is cycled. Affinity: Water and Fire Origin: “Expiate” Attribute: Purification A natural “trait” she was born with. The act of purifying something consists of rooting out flaws and imperfections so as to improve it from the basic state or otherwise returning it to what it “should have been” before such impurities were introduced. It is an attribute well-suited for a number of branches of magecraft. In particular, perhaps thanks to it, she has an almost instinctive understanding and talent for “spiritual healing”. It is not out of place to say that if she were to train properly in it, she would be able to become a world-class talent. ...However, because of her own proclivities, such is unlikely to ever come to pass. Pure Eyes The last of the blessings bestowed upon her. Pure Eyes are a natural form of psychic ability. However, unlike the Mystic Eyes most often coveted by magi, Pure Eyes are not traits of the body — rather, they are proof of “inherited will”. Karma is passed from parent to child across generations, and the newer one inherits the quest of the previous. Likewise, unlike Mystic Eyes, which are something which “interferes with the world”, Pure Eyes are merely tools for observation, allowing one to perceive things that are not meant to be seen. In her case, her set allows her to see the “sin” of people, reflected on their bodies across several areas. The harsher the accumulated sins, the more easily noticeable or expansive the spots, sometimes covering the entire individual. To gaze upon such things daily without reprieve and maintain a smile — if nothing else, she may truly possess a temperament fitting for a saint. Holy Fist Uriel’s Judging Strike The key to her strength as an Executor. It is a means of combat created by the ancestors of the Christoforou family long ago. While there was once a martial art developed by Jacob, who would combat an angel for an entire night, and it was supposedly passed down across many generations, the details of it have been lost to the modern age. However, that is fine. In the first place, imitating Jacob was the least of their concerns. Rather, the aim of the art is to imitate the martial prowess of the angels of the Lord themselves in order to create a tool to combat heretics with. It incorporates not only punches and kicks, but also throws, chokeholds and the like in order to create a combat style that offers answers to multiple situations at different ranges. However, perhaps the most important is the spiritual component. Combating sinners is intrinsically synonymous with recognising their crimes and administering a response based on such, swiftly identifying the root of evil and destroying it without pause. Because of this, the figure that most inspired the creators and all practitioners have sought to emulate is that of the archangel Uriel, who presides over judgement. Normally, such a thing should only be a rationality — a fundamental philosophy that practitioners adhere to, but nothing truly practical. However, it is nonetheless something that was created for the sake of “striking sin and sinner as one”. In that regard, she is perhaps the greatest gift to the style since its inception. Rather than it being because she advanced the style’s “power as a martial art”, however, it is more because she is potentially its best wielder — past, present and perhaps even future, as the culmination of her family’s efforts. Using her eyes to distinguish “sin” and bring it to the forefront, instinctively utilizing her attribute to touch that which cannot be normally touched and striking with the full force of techniques crafted for the specific purpose of obliterating both sin and sinner — the combination of factors have enhanced it far beyond its normal limits. To make a long story short, to risk being hit by her is to place something more than just one’s “body” on the line. Church Sacraments Rites of the Holy Church taught to Executors, most prominently the Baptism Rite. It is the sole mystery that is freely taught to all members of the Holy Church. It is a simple ten-count ritual effective immediately after being uttered that, while weak in terms of physical interference, boasts immense strength against spiritual bodies, forcing their sublimation almost unilaterally. However, even with her unshaking faith and her affinities, it still cannot dispel something on the level of a Servant. Even a miracle backed by such a strong and stable foundation still has limits. MYSTIC CODES Ash Lock A Conceptual Weapon of the Holy Church. Standard equipment for Executors and most often preferred because there is usually no need to undergo special training in order to use them relatively competently. Generally, they are disguised as normal apparel, but by removing a tag, their true form is revealed. In her case, her “Ash Lock” is worn on her hands and feet disguised as gloves and boots, and undoing the tag reveals them to be gauntlets and greaves. They are unreasonably tough, but most importantly, given their form and purpose as “a tool against heretics”, they are outstanding enhancers for her already impressive martial arts. Black Keys Equipment for Executors, but unlike the Ash Lock, more often symbolic due to the awkward shape and extensive training required to be used properly, especially to those without access to the secret techniques employed by the Burial Agency. She can throw them fairly accurately, and they do offer some additional use against spiritual bodies, but they are far from her preferred method of combat. Church Garb Special garments tailored for Executors, woven with protections against harm plus kevlar. In addition to being lightweight, it can shrug off small arms fire without issue to the wearer, and one would need high stopping power to fully pierce it and cause more than just discomfort or pain. All in all, it provides an adequate first layer of defense in most circumstances. NON-MAGECRAFT Executor Training Refers to the many trials and training one undergoes in order to be acknowledged as an Executor. In addition to standard training with the weapons most often wielded by the Church’s agents and being taught the Sacraments, one is also expected to train their body to an almost unreasonable degree, almost becoming a monster by modern standards, and tactics to hunt and slay one’s target. Furthermore, such things as increasing pain tolerance and slow immunization to various toxins are also included. Naturally, this has only been further improved by her experience — a veteran with a little over ten years’ worth of work in killing heretics. Modifications Procedures performed in-utero. While the Church possesses the ability to arm their soldiers with functioning cybernetics in a combination of technology and magecraft, in this particular case it was preferred to augment the things a human already possesses rather than try to give them things they do not — if only for the sake of maintaining her form whole and avoid interfering with the development of her martial arts. Includes a greatly strengthened musculoskeletal structure, enhanced nervous system and neural pathways and improved eyesight, smell and auditory capacity.
