Dean Winchester and Annabeth
Dean stared at Cason for a few moments as he stepped through the kitchen and perched himself against an empty counter, far away from most people. He didn’t want to start a fight this morning, but it did make him a bit angry that Cason looked so clean and uninjured, while Dean felt like a train had hit him in the face. Demon healing powers…ugh. Dean’s eyes then scanned over Esme, his gaze softening as he stared at her, hoping to catch her gaze as she stood in the kitchen. He could feel the familiar wave of calm that she tended to project onto him before or after a hunt, and he sighed wistfully, dropping his shoulders. Annabeth watched Sam, trying not to make eye contact with Cason as she sat behind Sam. When Sam confirmed that he was already watching Dean, Anna sighed, letting go of his earlobes and letting her hands fall from his shoulders as he stepped up grabbed some food for both of them. She took the sandwich from his hands and smirked, “Thank you sir.” Reaching a hand out as she took the sandwich in one hand, she placed her hand against his hip, finding it hard to lose contact while they were in a room full of people, especially Cason. Apparently, she was still in the last few stages of detox, because he smelled amazing, like food. She shoved her finger behind Sam’s belt, forcing herself to hold onto him. But her head perked up, at the same time as Dean’s when Nat answered her phone and began talking to someone in a confused but intrigued tone. When Sam spoke up, asking what the phone call was about, Anna’s eyes followed his to Nat and she raised her eyebrows, just as Mika chimed in, “What’s the rising of the witnesses?” Dean watched Mika leave the room to go and find the book he knew she already had in her sights when she stood. He slid off the counter to step over near her, wrapping his body around her back as he leaned over the book above her, “Breaking seals? Bobby? What does that mean?” “I was hoping I was wrong.”, Bobby chimed from the living room with a huff. He stood from his chair, and walked over toward them, throwing a large book onto the center of the table near the food, and opened it, “If what I’m reading is right, the seals are keys to a door. And I don’t think we want to see what’s behind that door. We might want to call your angel friend.” “He’s not my friend.”, Dean snapped, glaring up at Bobby. “Alright. Then your angel aquaintance. Call him what you want, but if anyone’s going to know about the damn biblical apocalypse, it’ll be an angel.”, Bobby snapped back at Dean, picking his book up from the table and walking off with a grumble. Anna carefully pulled Sam closer to her and swallowed her bite of food, “We’re gonna bring angels here?” “An angel. He seems like a good guy. Wears a trenchcoat. Tiny little thing.”, Dean answered, before lowering his head toward the table with his eyes closed, “Castiel. You said you would be around. Well, we got questions that we think you have answers to. So…if this prayer works or whatever, I don’t know how to do this…please come help?”
