Josh nodded with a smile when she said she was okay, that they got ice cream and she was ready to go downstairs. "okay" he replied, getting off the bed and holding his hand out to her to walk her downstairs with him. 

Chas let Serena stand near him whilst Kay seemed intent on remaining close to John. "I guess that's up to these two as they'd know more about the next steps than me." he replied. kay looked up at that statement, "we found out what the sigil means or at least, who it is linked to. But that's as far as we got before I convinced John to take a break" she explained, even if said break turned into another whole situation between them.
