Background: 

Jaun was an overweight Hispanic Puerto Rican young man. He is socially awkward but brilliant and has great recall when it comes to information. When it comes to dealing with people he is awkward and trusts slowly. A group makes him struggle and when it comes to crowds he is totally incapacitated. If he likes someone, it is easier and if he can distract himself he is “okay.” He struggles with most loud noises. (Very High functioning autism, functions mostly fine when distracted).

Juan has been picked on most of his life as being slow. Most of the time he does not care and just likes people. He has been learning that most of his friends are really not nice and are mean to him.  

Jaun learns quickly in his own way. He learned to pick locks from watching videos online because some “friends” wanted him to pick a lock at the Catholic Girls School so they could watch the girls shower. Jaun was not included after the door opened but he was blamed. 

After the energy storm, Juan’s gained the ability to disappear.  

He is being sent to L.A. via Amtrack from Chicago (it was cheaper than taking the bus), with his cousin Marie Angel Hernandez. They were part of the school in Chicago that was attacked. Both of them were out. Juan at a Doctor's Appointment, Marie was playing hooky. This has made Jaun mad and he is mad when it is brought up. 

He picked up the nickname "Data" at school because people think he is like the Next Generation Character. 
He is registered as being "normal" through use of being invisible. 

Strengths:
   He has a great memory and can control light (He mostly hides).   

Weaknesses:
   He thinks everybody in CA lives like MTV. 
   Not really able to defend himself, he is able to make food, wash his clothes and survival things. He mostly dependent on others to get around (does not drive).
