It was still news to him that a meteor had crashed somewhere in the wilderness during the comet's appearance. Filo felt himself getting excited, as it sounded like the beginning of an adventure. More so, it would be one that he would be actively participating in front and center. The task was deceptively simple, go to the direction where the meteor fell, find the rock, and set up a base for the geology people to study it there. The challenge would lie in the gaps between and during those steps. "Name's Filo. Anyway, what's the area we're entering like? Will we be needing to pack hot or cold drinks? Is there anything to the terrain that will require care or perhaps some tools for traversing it? Also what's the timeframe for this and how often do you want updates on our progress? Will we be hauling the base construction materials from here or will it be something we take care of when we find that meteor?" It was a slight barrage of questions, but Filo knew they had to be thorough before marching in there.
