While the pleasant smell of food did help to appease her mood a little bit, enough to make the cold air emanating from her subside but not enough to make her forget about the stolen ribbons, nor enough to warrant the cold stare she was giving as the looked around. Amidst known and unknown faces, many of the guests were at the counter, either talking with Suzune or waiting for their breakfast. "Good morning." Maeve said, greeting Suzune, Tali and the others around with a rather flat tone, which coupled with the cold stare in her eyes was a dead giveaway she wasn't exactly in the best mood. Just after she approached the counter and was about to ask Suzune for some breakfast, one of the two guests whom apparently were getting ready to go training, judging by the swords they were carrying and the bit of conversation Maeve had caught when she arrived stopped her, after complaining about her ribbons. "Unfortunately, yes." Maeve said when the man asked if she was robbed, mentioning that he was also a victim, despite not having participated the festivities. "I am sure they didn't disappear during the celebration too, since when I took them off to sleep last night, they were still on my shoes." she explained. "Why would someone want to steal the silk ribbons that decorate my shoes?! Even if they're made of expensive silk, I doubt a thief would recognize their value or even be interested on them instead of jewels. Unless they were trying to provoke me or something..." Maeve said, in a cold, annoyed tone. "Greetings, Allanon, my name is Maeve Orzhov. It is a pleasure to meet you." Maeve said, in a polite and dignified greeting, despite her mood. "I have no problems with working together. The faster we find whoever was responsible for these pranks, the sooner I can show them that they messed with the wrong woman. Not only they entered my room while I was sleeping, but they dared to put their filthy hands on my clothes." Maeve said, accepting Allanon's proposal for them to work together.
