Just about anything fits, the main thing we've noticed after doing this genre for years is that you want a character that's going to be able to interact with others and not be isolated from the start. 

In our Sol City game I had a US Marshal and a Mechanic/Racecar Driver. This time I'm gonna have a singer and a bodybuilder.
