Miles remained quiet for a moment, as he gently nodded along at his friend’s suggestion. Being watched on by his anxious Heracross, while he took another step forward, and ended up shaking some more petals from off the tree. Noticed this time, when Miles had turned toward the ocean, and spotted his Breloom and Storm racing around by themselves. Connecting the soon fallen blossoms without a breeze, with the sound of his pokemon attempting to climb back down. “You’re probably right about that.” Miles responded calmly, with a one-sided shrug. “Thanks Conner.” Miles added with a smile, as he promptly stood up from the swing. Proceeding to walk around the tree and catch his clumsy beetle, before he could burrow himself underneath the ground. As Paragon waited there, frozen in the act, with a guilty look on his face. Only to be laughed off by Miles, as he reached into his pockets. “You’re not in any trouble bud. We’re just heading home now. Okay?” Miles reassured him in an upbeat tone, as he pulled out Paragon’s pokeball. I can't be surprised at how they're behaving. When it’s my fault for telling them that I planned to say I liked him tonight. Miles realized, once he received a soft approving nod from his Heracross. But I guess that’s another thing that I failed to achieve with my team- The trainer conceded, until getting interrupted by his Heracross’ claw, swiftly pointing up to the afternoon skies above. “Hera—cross!” Paragon alerted his trainer, after witnessing two different shiny objects, as they continued to plummet straight past Whortleberry City. Prompting Miles to turn around and stare up in awe, as a dozen sparkling fireworks had risen up from the city’s parade. All suddenly erupting within seconds of each other, and creating enough noise to bring everyone else’s attention to the dual spiral of twisting lights. What are...those things? Miles wondered, while his gaze watched the first one. Appearing to be a wild streak of bright orange fire; that might’ve been mistaken for a falling meteorite. If it wasn’t mirrored by an ominous trail of purple smoke—as they each proceeded to plunge further down and separate into two large glowing orbs of light. “Uh, maybe we shouldn’t stay here.” Miles suggested in a murmur. Yet he was too slow to react otherwise. As Paragon flew in front of him, and spread his wings outward like a barrier. Meant to shield Miles from the purple streak’s initial impact—as it was moments away from hitting his trainer. However, he was unable to do anything about the fiery orb heading right for Conner... But as it turned out—the purple light would pass through Paragon’s body anyway. Immediately forming into a Haunter, as it ended up being harmlessly caught in Miles’ hands. Wait...huh... He thought, while staring back at the equally bewildered ghost pokemon. “Did I just...catch a pokemon that fell from the sky?” Miles uttered aloud.
