Bane ran for the door and into the room, moving in front of the fox to make sure he didn’t fall. “Hold on I got ya. Just lean on me okay. Look, can you explain something to me? If a gate keepers blood family was somehow…losing themselves to some dark madness thing, would that affect the gate keeper?”

Dante smiled and bowed to her. “I would never fail you, my captain” he vanished in red smoke and was gone. 

Bane heard the alarm and cursed. “Alright, answer later. I need to get you to Serena. I don’t want that vampire nut job alone with her again…I don’t trust him at all” he lead the fox out of the room, his aura starting to work on his true form just in case.
