As the most capable practitioner of said magic, she traveled all around the world, selling her craft to anyone who had money and needed something solved by unconventional means. She took no husband and bore no children, as she wanted no one or nothing tying her down to living her life on her own terms.

After the war between the Æsir and Vanir ended, Freya became an honorable member of the Æsir as a token of truce, and was thus sent to live in Asgard. In addition, Valfreya was granted the honor of having first pick of half of the heroes who were slain in battle, along with a realm of her own for them to reside in: Fólkvangr. Utilizing her infinite beauty and sultry seduction as tools, Freya charmed her wealthy, unsuspecting lovers into becoming love-struck providers. They offered the goddess money, expensive clothing and lavish gifts for her company, which she used to finance her lavish lifestyle in every location she was forced to relocate to.

In the seventies, what used to be isolated encounters with a fellow god of a different pantheon slowly evolved into a consistent, passionate and heated entanglement. The two deities shared innumerable sleepless nights with their bodies intertwined, taking each other to the highest peaks of paradise. Their commitment to no one but their own selves drew them closer, making the arrangement between them something near perfection. The more time they spent together, the more Freya felt they connected beyond the physical attraction that had initially drawn them to one another, and she found herself falling hopelessly in love with the man. Although this was possibly the most gut-wrenching, heartbreaking blow Freya had ever faced to date (even as a Norse goddess), there was not a lot of time to be spent grieving his absence or the loss of what could have been. Out of that last time spent together, Freya had been blessed with the most valuable gift of all: the conception of her first child.

Every ending had a new beginning, after all.
