[color=paleturquoise]Personality:[/color] Remi doesn't socialize much (or at all) but "quiet" isn't quite correct way to describe her. "Aloof" might be more accurate. "Standoffish," even. She's spent most of her life being tormented by her twin sister Kara and her many friends at school. Thus, Remi is slow to trust, quick to assume the worst, and always ready for a fight. After so many times sitting in the principal's office, or getting lectured by her father though, Remi has learned to deal her combativeness - for the most part. Over the years she's turned the impulse to lash out into a more calculated, observant quality, and she's gotten better at picking her battles. She's not all hard edges though; Remi is clever and resourceful, with a penchant for mischief. Most of all though, she's lonely, and tired of constantly feeling like she has something to prove.

[color=paleturquoise]Appearance:[/color] Remi is exceptionally short, slender, and has a smattering of freckles across her youthful face. She looks younger than she is, much to her annoyance, and so she's taken to wearing eye makeup and lip gloss in an attempt to look older. Her black hair is long and waving, and usually in a series of French braids and curled into a bun. Remi has dark aqua eyes and an unflinching stare. Her typical outfit is a simple shirt, a pair of dark leggings, some sneakers, and a pink bomber jacket with a Gyarados and several Magikarp intricately embroidered on the back. Overall, she gives the impression of someone constantly observing and evaluating - and thoroughly unimpressed with what she finds.

[color=paleturquoise]History:[/color] For as long as she can remember, Remi has been competing against her twin sister Kara. When Kara got into an elite private school, Remi busted her ass to make sure she got in too. The first time Remi scored higher on a test, Kara gossiped to anyone who would listen that Remi was a cheater, until practically the whole class had turned against her. When Remi's Pikachu began to consistently win against Kara's Eevee, she evolved it into a Leafeon, just to give herself the advantage.

And when, after an explosive fight between the twins, Kara bought a rare Dreepy from a breeder as a graduation gift to herself, well... Remi decided to get a Dreepy too. [i]Kara's[/i] Dreepy. 

Stolen luxury ball in hand, Remi and her Pikachu snuck out of their home in Hammerlocke. Remi was giddy and without a plan - but she knew she had to think of something quick before her family found out what she'd done and her dad dragged her back home - or her sister [i]strangled[/i] her. Remi went to the first PokeCenter she found, registered the Dreepy as her own (Kara had [i]neglected[/i] to register it yet, and Remi almost snorted with laughter) and put herself on the first flight out of the Galar Region. When she landed in Kosei, she ignored the many notifications on her phone, sent her sister cash for the Dreepy on an app, and has been dodging her family's calls ever since.
