His father, a mechanical engineer, and mother, a botanist, raised the young boy to respect life, instilling their views into him. His mother's kindness truly touched him in ways no one else could, helping Scott to learn that helping people can be as simple as a hello or holding the door. She wanted her son to grow up with compassion and kindness as tenets, these lessons holding true even as his mother came to be diagnosed with cancer. Scott was close to mother every step of that, helping his father take care of her especially after having a child during his cancer treatments. Around age 16, Scott would lose his mother to cancer, pushing himself away from his father as he grieved. Fortunately life would take a turn for the better as his father would take Scott and his baby sister to America, specifically Angel Grove, to achieve their dream of living in America. Leaving behind everything that he knew was rough at first, dealing with a new language, and bullies picking on the kid with the funny voice. Feeling alone and pushed to the side, his father decided to teach his son the martial art of Taekwondo. Scott proved to be talented in martial arts, eventually having to use it against the bullies threatening to harm him, and getting in trouble. Whilst his father made sure to teach his son about why fighting can only be for defense, little did he know that Scott had come to love fighting. Over the next decade, Scott kept a vested interest in Martial Arts whilst helping take care of his younger sister, Amy. He would eventually enter the MMA regional circuit, making a name for himself and earning money that allowed him to go to college for Archaeology. A passionate hobby that started during his senior year of high school, Scott wanted to delve deeper. Now a champion in the Angel Grove regional promotion, and a day job as an Archaeologist, Scott lives his life the way he wants.
