The sounds of excited screams and the smell of fried pastries were drawing in the early birds to Haly’s Circus fair. There was something for everyone. The easygoing crowd could visit attractions such as the hall of mirrors for some laughs. Competitive fair goers could test their skills [I]and[/i] luck in the many games to include the shooting gallery, taking their pick from a huge selection of stuffed animals. 

The fair was roughly divided into two areas. One with rides including staples like the ferris wheel, a haunted house, merry go around, tilt-a-whirl and animal rides. 
The second area included a selection of games like, the dunk tank, basketball shooting, among other games that tested one's dexterity. 

Sprinkled throughout the grounds were food stands selling everything from pretzels and hotdogs to funnel cakes and cotton candy in rainbow colors. There was even a fortune teller tucked away into some back corner. 

Both areas conveniently lead to the circus tent which was set up at the centre back. Circus workers were setting up the inside of the tent to not only prepare for the following night's shows but the fireworks that would be used to finish next evening’s circus show with a bang.
