I have a story I'd like to write with someone. It's been a while since I've done this whole writing thing but I can promise at least a post a day with decent grammar and style. You'll be experiencing a metaverse I've worked on myself by the perspective of a character you will make. I'm not picky on pairings as you will be meeting a wide assortment of people and characters during your journeys. My requirement is that you be a human on a relatively modern-day Earth. How deeply you control the town/city of your origin is entirely up to you. If you're looking to make someone who will be the MC in an inter-galactic oddysey with plenty of depth then let me know! I need to work my creative muscles a bit. My idea mostly revolves around getting your character through one of this metaverse's most difficult and well-known tournaments. How I'll draw you and your character into this idea from modern-day Earth will largely rely on who you create. That being said, I'd enjoy it if you could display some decent grammar. I'd also prefer if you were above 18, helps me to feel better about mature themes as I am well into my 20's. PM with any questions if I didn't scare ya off by now :3
Spellbound nails of acrylic coating spin quickly round an orb at the center of one elaborately adorned room. The outside of this room can only lead a traveler into the void of space, yet, its internals speak an entirely different story. To find yourself in said circular domicile, its diameter measuring 7 yards, would be a most peculiar thing. This lonely fortress is called by the name of Gebtalliad, a place meant only for one individual to reside. Gebtalliad floats many countless light-years from Earth, its body resting deep inside a dangerous nebula of toxic fumes stirred constantly by a largely vicious astral ecosystem. The being who dwells inside labors for the first time in roughly twenty-seven-thousand earth years to peer into their orb. It is time. Ghostly light begins to permeate the inside of Gebtalliad, originating from one massive and luminous orb at its center. The aforementioned dweller of our fortress continues to spin reflective nails around said sphere again and again. They breathe with intense effort, frail raiments clinging to sharp bones that hardly hold an aged form together. Sempha is the name of the fortune-teller whom rests their immortal vessel here. They work for a god of many names, seeking to curry favor by finding ‘champions’ for a grand conflict to soon take place. “Cavernous peace, oh Elk of sovereign life, I summon your will to this place! Hear me now, oh winds of favor and prophecy, carry my only eye to the place of Yayeptule’s champion!” One small marble of ivory light begins to form its profound and definite shape at the center of the fortune-tellers orb. Sempha gasps in anticipation, her long fingers shuddering at the thought of success for her master. The marble begins to expand and fill its surface with ever-sharpening details. Green splotches paint their stretched forms between pastures of a great blue expanse. Under the surface, a great many things stir and pulse with powers beyond much of what the universe is capable of. ‘What is this place? Is it beyond Council space…?’ Sempha would think to herself, shocked to find such a portent place without any standing claims from other galactic bodies. “Earth… I must send word of this place…” Sempha continues her work whilst speaking in hushed tones. The light of her orb reaches a point of climax before suddenly flickering into nothingness. The interior of her scrying orb had been sent as an image to the place of her master's residence. ‘This place, surely it has a grand champion awaiting my master’s word, surely it does…’ She thinks to herself whilst collapsing backward onto a grand and dusty cushion that has seen as many nights as herself.
