The battle seemed to go apace, he found himself chasing down a few monsters in the course the chaos, though for the most part it seemed those who could not defend themselves were out of harm's way, and the battle had approached a point where it was time to clean up, though curiously he found himself in an alleyway.

There were people here, hiding. Though it did not seem at all unusual, at first, but then he recognized one of the game's story NPCs here going about healing those who had run here. It was strange to see them acting on their own like this when he was used to them standing around waiting for interaction, especially when they approached the newcomers. He listened to her talk and...

[color=0054a6][i]"Before the battle...?"[/i][/color], that was a curious detail, one he muttered to himself. Did this mean she would depart as soon as this was over? There were a myriad of questions he wanted to ask, such as why they were here, who the attacker was, what was going on, why this was no longer a game... The last one though may best be investigated instead. He doubted that these characters would know.
