Full Name: Jack Gabriel Tucker Nicknames/Aliases: The Angry Anchorman, Jacky-Boy (Only by his arch-nemesis), Mr. Tucker Age: 43 Gender: Male Species: Mortal Description: Jack doesn't have what you call an "Anchorman's look". Kind of gruff with a seemingly perpetual five 'o clock shadow. In light of recent events, Jack has ditched the typical suit and tie for a noticeably more casual look. When he'd report, he wore a simple button up with jeans and boots. Off-camera, Jack trades his shirts for a T-shirt and -on cooler days- a brown leather jacket. For those special occasions, Jack managed to acquire an experimental fiber suit: All black and gray, worn under a red leather jacket. Personality: In a few words: Jack is aggressive, surly, stubborn, confrontational, and tenacious. Infamous for his rants, long and eloquent swearing, and seeming violent streak; Jack will say what needs to be said, do what needs to be done, and damn the consequences. While this makes him very intimidating on the outside; Jack also has a soft side. His anger and tenacity has always been fueled by a strong sense of justice and a deep empathy for the little man. Other traits include a love for punk rock and good whiskey, cars (or anything mechanical), and doggos. Skills:

Experienced combatant: Jack has been fighting for as long as he can remember. Whether it's hand-to-hand, guns, knives, or whatever he can get his hands on; Jack can kick your ass with it.
Handyman: Jack has always been good with his hands, and very industrious. Many of his weapons and gadgets are either D.I.Y, or modified.
Investigative reporter: Jack is actually a seasoned investigator, as per his career. In fact, one might think he could've been a detective, had journalism not snatched him up.
Weaknesses: Between some lingering injuries (including a knee injury), Jack is a still a squishy human. Brief History: Despite his seeming success, Jack Tucker was a troubled man. His wife divorced him, then moved their son in with the man she'd been cheating on him with. His news station never gave him the credit he deserved. And the city he loved was descending into a cesspool of crime and corruption. While covering a the election of the city's very corrupt mayor, Jack lost it and gave his now infamous "Pipebomb" rant, ranting about everything he and the rest of the city felt for years. From there began a crusade against all that was wrong with the city. The FCC and sponsors demanded Jack be gotten rid of, but he simply took his crusade to social media. The criminal syndicate and their corrupt government backers tried to lock him away, even put Jack on death row. But, Jack escaped and eventually exposed them for all the world to see. The news station saw an opportunity; brought Jack back, gave him his own segment. He was "Putting the Action in Action-News", as it were. Viewers watched with baited breath as Jack took the news van in high-speed chases, got into shootouts with bank robbers, even got challenged to an MMA match by a rather mouthy fighter. But, nothing could prepare him for the cult. Try as he might to expose and disrupt those who welcomed the return of the Eldritch gods, judgement day was coming, like it or not. And then it just... Stopped. Since then, Jack has gone back to reporting, covering the consequences and aftermath of an aborted apocalypse. But, as his colleagues breathed a sigh of relief, Jack still finds himself tense. Other: Jack has a son named Nicholas, who's now 17. Their relationship was rather rocky, what with Nick being caught in an ugly divorce, then made to live with the man his mother cheated on his father with. It didn't help that Nick's new step-dad wasn't keen on having a kid. Especially when a secret of Nick's got out. Before the apocalypse, Jack let Nick stay in his apartment. They're on better terms, but Nick remains very reclusive and seemingly tense...
