That, too, had its share of barriers to break through. But once she got in, she knew it would be smooth sailing. Because Su had a secret weapon. Her family passed down an artifact through the ages that allowed one to acquire power mortal men cannot wield: The power of an esper. Once the top brass discovered her hidden powers, she was move into project GEMINI, where they could make better use of her ability to slay monsters. During her travels, she discovered and adopted a young runaway who she's been raising as her own daughter.

Su is a "tiger mom," complete with a thick Chinese accent. Not only is she a strict mother to her only child, but she brings her temperament into missions too. As strict and overbearing as she can be, it's only because she wants to make sure everyone comes home safe. She won't budge if it breaks protocol, but Su is reserved enough that she can remain calm and civil in almost any situation. Being anal about protocol aside, Su is usually pretty easy going outside of missions. 

Su doesn't have any real hobbies. When she's not on a mission, she's training. And when she's not training, she's probably spending some quality time with her daughter. There isn't time for anything else.

Luna was always left to her own devices as a child. Her father was a professional gambler, and tended to travel a lot. Her mother had been badly injured doing her job, and wasn't as mobile as she used to be. She could still move around the house, but it was an ordeal to get in and out of a car, and it wasn't like her father's money was consistent enough that they could just buy something with a wheelchair lift. Luna needed to become somewhat independent, biking or driving herself to where she needed to go.

Something she got into during her last years of high school was gambling. It was illegal on the premises, but she'd arrange spots for people to show up and gamble with her. She learned how to tip the scales in her favor (doesn't that sound better than cheating) and quickly learned that by acting friendly and looking her best, people were less likely to suspect any foul play.

One time someone was so desperate to gamble they threw in a game of UNO as collateral. This amused Luna, who accepted it and subsequently won. She was ready to stash it away as a simple trophy, but it turned out to be much more than she could have ever imagined. But what was a delinquent like herself to do with all this power?

Shortly after acquiring her powers, she realized there was a monster that was actively sabotaging her mother's ability to heal. It was her first real fight, and while the monster was weak, she was equally inexperienced. Fortunately, another esper was nearby to assist. They were able to recover Luna's mangled body and bring her before Billy. Once they had her all healed up, Billy explained the supernatural world to her, how it was filled with monsters both good and evil. He also told her how it was not always possible to spot if a monster was good or evil right away. The monster had kept her mother crippled for years, but it might have just been doing the bare minimum to survive. After meditating on this, Luna decided to join Maverick alternative.

Their story is one you've heard countless times. They were just two teenagers that were a bit different from everyone else, and had to tolerate excessive bullying. They were red heads with excessive acne outbreaks, and proffered the company of comic books to that of actual people. While they enjoyed comics of all kinds, manga really resonated with them. The foreign stories were unlike anything they had ever experienced, and they would have been so much happier living there without their current problems. 

One day, they decided that they were going to learn how to play music. So they went to a music shop to buy instruments. Maybe fate was calling them, maybe they had been left there, or perhapse it could have even been dumb luck. But there was a manga that neither twin had seen before. When they opened it up, someone had used a few guitar pics as a bookmark. The music shop owner had owned the book, and decided to let the kids part with it since he was so taken back with how gingerly they handled the book. But the guitar pics nestled inside were not normal. They were grimoires, and the twins were able to start their lives of stardom immediately.

While Elroy's looks make teenage girls swoon just by existing, the words that come out of his mouth are seldom as attractive. He's not one to swear, but it's hard to tell if his insults or his attacks hit harder in a fight. It's not uncommon for him to offer backhanded complements, point out ironies, or anything else that might irk the person he's speaking with. It's not always apparent if he's being playful or genuinely scornful.

Elroy likes to smile. Even in dire situations he usually manages to keep his pearly whites visible, like a lighthouse in the dark. It's rare to see him make any other kind of facial expression, especially if he's in public. If he isn't smiling, something is probably [i]really[/i] bothering him.

Like most depraved espers, there’s a lot of people who want Oros dead. It’s a reasonable sentiment, seeing as she openly claims to be serving a horror and doing what she can to summon them. Naturally, neither G.E.M.I.N.I. nor Maverick Alternative are okay with this, nor the freelancers they regularly employ for work. More powerful espers than her have been brought low by hunting parties, but her cunning makes her an elusive target to track.

This would normally just be considered the ramblings of a mad woman or a joke in poor taste, but Oros [i]came[/i] from the elemental chaos. No one knows who she was when she entered, but Oros the Mad is all that’s left of them now.

While most depraved try to fade into obscurity, Oros has recently done something that makes no sense for someone with her motivations. Pax Septimus was ruled by a self proclaimed queen who saw fit to let the local monster population do whatever it desired. This is certainly a good thing if you’re trying to summon a horror, but Oros went and put a stop to that. The resulting power vacuum has drawn in the factions along with many freelance espers looking to stay busy.  

Oros is pretty jovial for a cultist, if a bit rude. It’s not uncommon for her to poke fun at whoever she’s talking to, and she has a reputation for being something of an instigator. Though she’ll casually talk with other espers even if they are there to kill her.
