As long as I don't really feel pressured to write a LOT of the time, I don't mind staying in Advanced. I just tend to have a mental image of "Advanced" meaning paragraphs and paragraphs of what I view as fluff and padding. But if post length isn't a real issue, and it's just about giving the others stuff to reply to, then I should be fine with it. Story: I enjoy a little bit of everything when it comes to the story. Suspense, mystery, action and adventure, etc. I tend to have a preference for combat RP (one of the many reasons I'm so attracted to the Digimon RP topic xD) but I'm obviously willing to compromise based on how other people like to play as well. Character development: I have a soft spot for character development as a whole. Characters that have a glaring issue that gets them into trouble or just one big background fact that troubles them and can even lead them to making bad or even selfish decisions is always pretty fun. Character flaws are always fun, especially when they're combined with a Digimon partner that has pretty much an opposite problem, so they can effectively call each other out on their crap. I imagine this is the kind of thing that will just sort of happen over time, sometimes with something in the story that forces them to directly confront said problems, or make them try to avoid them entirely.
