Lurked for a bit, but think I'll go ahead and show interest. Advanced means different things for different people, some question if you need to write a wall, others looking for quality over quantity and dedication. I kinda swim in a middle ground, I like adding small details to my posts but I also try to not just overdo it to the point of being some fluffed up monstrosity of writing. What I feel I need to portray sometimes comes out as a lot of words, but I aim for it to not be a mess of entirely useless information. I try to mostly focus on my character in the present, rather than rattling off for too long. As far as story goes, I'm pretty adaptable. Combat's always fun, but adventurous themes and mysterious, threatening lands to explore are pretty rad. I don't mind danger for PC's, it adds a bit of spice to a situation, though can understand limiting to an extent for the sake of not having players get killed or anything. Character development is basically the core of most RP's, isn't it? It's a staple of writing for me, that and interacting with others. Without that core enjoyment of characters, an RP really flickers out fast, I feel. So I try to make someone colorful, hopefully enjoyable, and capable of development down the road for sure. People are ever-changing, as they say. Flaws bring life, overcoming them can bring entirely new problems to the table, showcasing life isn't exactly perfect. It's a fun thing to do, create an individual and set them loose in a world. Plus, as said above, Digimon partners can really add to the experience and make some fun dynamics.
