Chas didn't know how to react to those words by John as he walked to the front door and opened it, letting Josh in. Seeing he was on the phone also, he guessed he had Serena on the other end. "Nothing crazy no. The girls played outside in the garden for a bit and they're now up in geraldine's room doing art and talking. Think Renee is completely taken by Trish" he said, smiling at Josh, who also smiled back. 

Kay looked at John back and gave him a reassuring squeeze of his shoulder to show she wasn't going anywhere. 

Josh smiled not only at Chas as if to say 'thanks for letting me in', 'glad Trish has been happy' but also over what Serena was telling him on his phone. "it may be hard to do but you'll have to get used to it" he told her. "I'm at Chas' now. I'm so glad you're alright now though. it's good to hear your voice" he told her.
