Bio:
Age: 16 Pronouns: He/him Occupation: Student, Digital Artist
Appearance:
Keiran is considered shorter than average for his age, standing at about 5'3", and is quite scrawny. This, combined with his softer facial features, has caused multiple people to assume he's younger than he actually is, much to his chagrin. He's pale with bluish-green eyes, faint freckles and strawberry blonde hair, the last of which he usually lets grow long due to being to lazy to get it cut. Recently, however, a mixture of teasing from peers and reprimanding from teachers has caused him to have it cut into a shorter style, though the fringe is still longer than average and partially covers his right eye. He doesn't smile much, so his resting face can come across as rather gloomy and unwelcoming. His wardrobe is pretty simple: t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, all often leaning towards cooler colours and leaning more towards being comfortable rather than too stylish. A lot of his clothes are hand-me-downs from his older brother, and thus tend to be a bit big for him. After cutting his hair, he's actually started collecting and wearing hats, with a particular fondness for woolen ones with ear flaps. They keep his head warm and can be used to conceal when he's wearing his ear buds and listening to music. His younger cousins also once made him some friendship bracelets, some woven and some with beads, and while he is a little embarrassed, he actually likes the way they look a lot and rarely takes them off, tending to keep them hidden under one of his sleeves.
Digivolution/Form-Change Method(s)
Partner Digivolution - Digivolution is triggered by a moment of strong emotional connection between Kieran and Blucomon, usually brought on when they're in a particularly vulnerable situation. This same connection also can be extended towards Hide and Agumon, allowing DNA Digivolution to be triggered.
Personality:
Sullen. Moody. Antisocial. Uncooperative. These and similar words have all been used by adults at some point to describe Kieran, and he definitely appears that way to those unfamiliar with him. He tends to keep most people at a distance, becoming tense when other people approach him and often responding in short, curt phrases, and seemingly preferring to keep to himself, either losing himself in his drawing or just daydreaming. In truth, he's actually just a shy kid with some bad experiences of being bullied that has led him to being extremely uncomfortable around other, especially guys his own age. He would genuinely like to open himself up to others, but a fear of rejection and/or ridicule for being 'too sensitive' often causes him to become defensive or lash out whenever his emotions get the better of him.

+ Creatively inclined, with a real passion and talent for drawing
+ Much more gentle and nurturing than he likes to let on, getting on fairly well with both animals and young children
+ Highly sensitive to the emotions of others
- Paranoid; mistrustful of people and prone to misinterpreting their actions as malicious
- Really self-conscious, always worrying about how other percieve him
- Has trouble expressing his softer, more vulnerable emotions, often coming across moody

Dream(s):
If asked what his greatest desire is, Kieran might respond with "I want respect". This sounds a little arrogant, but what he actually means by respect is 'understanding'. He wants people to understand him, or at least attempt to understand him. He's had trouble making friends at school due to not sharing interests with most of his classmates, with a lot of the things he enjoys being labelled as 'childish' or 'feminine', often leading to teasing and bullying. This also somewhat extends to his family situation, with his father and older brother being both military men, and being much closer to each other than they are with Kieran. They do care about Kieran, really they do, but they just can't understand why he struggles so much in his social life, nor can they really connect with him over the things he enjoys. The few people who Kieran feels really understand him are his mother and the online friends he's gained through his art. Still, this doesn't feel enough to him. He genuinely wants to be able to connect with other people, to have them like him for being, well, him.
Nightmare(s):
The main reason Kieran has such a hard time opening up to people is that he's terrified of showing any emotional vulnerability, seeing it as a sign of 'weakness'. At best, he fears this will scare any potential friends off, and at worst, they might take advantage of this and using it against him. The idea of confiding in someone only for them to betray him is more terrifying to him than the idea of being alone, hence why he is so withdrawn most of the time.
The first thing Kieran was aware of was being cold. Not just a little cold either, but the biting chill that seeps right through your skin and into your bones. The kind of cold that causes pins and needles to develop in your limbs right before they go completely numb. The second thing he was aware of was someone shaking him. "Hey! Are you alright?... Hey!" Kieran opened his eyes. Everything was a blinding white to begin with, so he had to close his eyes again, before opening them more slowly and waiting for them to adjust. Once they had, he found himself staring into a pair of large, pinkish-red eyes. "Oh thank goodness! I thought you'd never wake up!" The eyes' owner gave a smile, revealing a row of sharp, pointy teeth. Kieran gave a yelp and, somehow, managed to summon up enough feeling in his arms to shove this thing away from him. It was sent flying a good few feet before landing, head-first, in a snowbank. Only its back legs and tail were visible as Kieran pushed himself to his feet and backed away. He quickly surveyed his surroundings. He looked to his left, to his right, in front, behind... as far as the eye could see, there was snow, covering everything from the ground to the trees to the mountains in a thick blanket of white, and even now, several flakes were still making their way from the sky down to the earth. Well that explains why I'm so cold, Kieran thought, brushing the power of his jeans and sweater. He turned his eyes back towards his mysterious companion, who was just pulling its head free of the snow. He could see now that it was a small, almost dinosaur-like creature covered in blue scales, with its head, tail and claws covered in a substance not unlike ice. Kieran took another step back as the creature shook its body free of stray flakes before jumping down from the snow bank. For such a stout, bulky-looking creature, it seemed surprisingly light on its feet. "Oh, did I startle you?" it said, apparently taking no offense to his somewhat aggressive actions. It began to walk towards him, which only caused him to back away more. "I'm really sorry, it's just you weren't moving for such a long time! I didn't think you'd ever get up!" It was half-running towards him at this point, and Kieran instinctively put his hands out in front of himself in fear that it would leap at him. It seemed to notice this and stopped in its tracks, tilting its head to one side. "What the heck are you?" Kieran said. The creature blinked before grinning again, its tail beginning to swish from side-to-side like an excited puppy. "I'm Blucomon!" it said, cheerfully, as if that explained everything. Kieran opened his mouth to speak again when a cold gust of wind suddenly cut through him, causing him to wrap his arms around himself. The snow began to fall heavier. Blucomon, or whatever it called itself, stopped smiling almost immediately, its face changing to a look of concern. "This way," it said, beckoning with a claw. "We should get out of the snow." It raised its head up, eyes narrowing slightly, before looking back at Kieran. "I saw a cave on the way over here! It should give us shelter for a bit." Kieran didn't exactly feel safe following this strange creature, but he also didn't want to get caught in a snowstorm. After a moment's hesitation, he slowly began to shuffle through the snow as Blucomon, smile wide and tail wagging once more, led him away towards those mountains he had spotted before. They managed to get out of the snow just before the storm really picked up, and began to make themselves comfortable... well, as comfortable as they could. Kieran was still wary of his unusual companion, and didn't offer much conversation as the two waited out the storm. Thankfully, he didn't really need to, as the little reptile was already talking. It talked all throughout the storm, about how it had happened across Kieran in the snow, how Kieran was the first living thing it had seen for a good couple of days, how it had been alone for a very long time now and was desperately looking for the group they had been travelling with. The creature kept talking, its voice remaining in a manic, excited pitch even when talking about things that should have been sad, and never stopped to take a breath. Normally, Kieran didn't really enjoy being talked at, and would rather sit in comfortable with silence, but he got the feeling that this little guy didn't really have anyone else to talk to. So he humoured little guy, nodding and "oh" and "ah" in the appropriate places. Not that he really needed to, he felt Blucomon would carry on regardless. After what must have been a couple of hours or so, as the snow outside was starting to calm down a little, Blucomon suddenly stopped talking for a moment. It glanced at Kieran. "I don't think I actually asked your name," it admitted with a sheepish smile. "No," Kieran said. "You didn't." Blucomon tilted its head to the side, its smile widening. "Sooo...?" Kieran sighed. "It's Kieran," he muttered, perhaps a little too softly. "Hm?" Another sigh. "Kieran!" he said. Blucomon blinked. "That's a weird name," it said. Despite the cold, Kieran felt his face flush slightly in embarrassment, and he opened his mouth, likely to make some kind of retort, until Blucomon added, with a cheerful smile. "I like it!" Kieran didn't know what to say to that, so he didn't say anything at all. The two waited out the rest of the snowfall, this time with Blucomon saying very little. They just sat and watched the snow falling outside the cave, the movement of which was even slightly hypnotic. Kieran felt himself getting sleepy, and suddenly became away that Blucomon was resting his head against his arm. Normally, this sudden closeness would make Kieran uncomfortable, but for whatever reason, he couldn't bring himself to pull away. It was weird, but for the first time in a while, he felt really calm... maybe he was just really tired. His eyelids were starting to get heavy. Just as he felt himself beginning to fall asleep, he heard Blucomon mumble, "Hey, Kieran?" "Yeah...?" "When the snow stops, where do you want to go?" "Hmmm...?" Kieran wasn't sure what it meant, and any words the dragon might have said afterwards were lost as Kieran became aware of a loud banging noise. Kieran closed his eyes... "Kieran?" ... and then opened them again. He was in his room, sat at his desk with computer turned on, head resting against the keyboard. Half of his monitor was taken up by a drawing program, with the other half taken up by chat. Kieran squinted as he watched the chat flicker past, filled with several messages of people calling to him and wandering if his internet had messed up. "Kieran?" There was a knock at the door. "Come in," Kieran answered distactedly as he typed a message in the chat: sorry, must have fallen asleep at keyboard Kieran's mum popped her head round the door. "What are you still doing up?" She motioned to the clock on the wall. "It's ten to twelve!" "Sorry," Kieran said, doing his best to suppress a yawn. "I must have fallen asleep at the keyboard." His mother's face quickly switched from stern to worried. "You alright?" She took a step into the room. "You don't look so well." Without waiting for him to answer, she placed her hand on his forehead to check his temperature, but Kieran merely batted her hand away. "'M fine," he muttered. No longer able to resist, he gave a small yawn. "Think I'm just tired." He motioned to the half of the screen taken up by the drawing he was doing. "I've been working on this for hours and just doesn't look right." Mrs. Blake glanced over his shoulder. "It looks alright to me," she said. She glanced at him again. "You really don't look well, Kieran. You really should get some rest." "Hm..." was Kieran could say, his head nodding every so slightly. "I will." Mrs. Blake smiled and gave him a small kiss on the forehead. "Good night, pet," she said, and turned to begin making her way out of the room. "Night, mum," Kieran said, not bothering to look round as she exited the room. The chat was still filling up with comments, some being gentle teasing but most were concerned, reiterating that maybe he had been working on for a little too long now and should get some rest. Will do ttyl Kieran responded before shutting off his computer. Just as he was getting up from his desk, he paused, as if remembering something. He opened one of the desk drawers and took out a small purple sketchbook, flicking to the latest page before scribbling in the margin the words, "Blucomon, ice dragon." He didn't feel up for attempting to make even the roughest sketch right now, but he didn't want to forget. He wasn’t sure where or how he had come up with such a bizarre little guy, but he was definitely going to be the next thing he drew. For sure.

Bio:
Maturity: Child-Like Pronouns: He/him
Typical Digivolution Path:
YukimiBotamon -> Hiyarimon -> Blucomon -> Paledramon -> CrysPaledramon -> Hexeblaumon OR DNA/Jogress into Examon
Origin:
To this day, Blucomon isn't entirely sure where he came from. His Digiegg was found by a colony of Penguinmon who were traveling in the middle of snowstorm. Seeing the egg just lying half-buried in the snow, one of the Penguinmon assumed it had been dropped by one of their colony-mates. Without a second thought, they scooped it up and brought it along with them. It didn't take them long to realise their mistake, however. Upon hatching into a YukimiBotamon, it became very clear that this creature was not one of them, a fact that became all the more clear once he Digivolved into Hiyarimon. While they knew what a YukimiBotamon looked like, they'd never seen this new Digimon, which resembled a tiny, half-melted Frigimon with a makeshift beak. Hiyarimon was also much more active than any other of the in-training Digimon, seemed to require twice as much food, and didn't seem to be aware of the differences between him and the other hatchlings, leading to several mishaps where he underestimated his own strength. The colony tolerated him for some time, but once he digivolved again and became Blucomon, they decided enough was enough, and after a few failed attempts to chase the strange Digimon off - all of which he assumed were some kind of game - they eventually managed to get rid of him. They were taking shelter in a cave during a blizzard, and Blucomon ended up getting into their food supplies and stuffing himself until he fell fast asleep. They took the opportunity and left, even as the blizzard still raged on. Blucomon woke up to find the snow had ceased falling and that his colony were completely gone. He had assumed they had simply forgotten him and attempted to track them down. However, the previous night's snow fall had covered up any footprints. He wondered for a long time afterwards, never able to find his colony. He asked several passing Digimon help, even attempting to join them instead, but it never lasted. The Digimon would often make excuses about why he couldn't join them, or even straight up chase him off. Despite this, Blucomon's energetic and friendly disposition never faltered. He may have been all alone, but he didn't feel lonely, at least not to a strong extent. In fact, whenever he was sleeping, he often had dreams that someone else was with him, looking after him. He didn't always remember these dreams clearly afterwards, but feeling of being warm, safe, stayed with him. After a while, he did eventually meet someone who let him stay, a Digimon called Agumon. Blucomon came across the other reptile Digimon training, and was so mesmerised by his fighting style he didn't even notice when Agumon accidentally dislodged a chunk of rock overhead with his Pepper Breath attack, sending it hurtling down towards Blucomon. Thankfully, Agumon did notice, and pushed the Ice Dragon out of the way before he could seriously get hurt. Needless to say, Blucomon was pretty starstruck, not even really connecting the dots that Agumon had been the one who had sent the rock falling in the first place. Ever since, Blucomon has follow Agumon around like a little puppy and, surprisingly enough, the yellow dinosaur Digimon has yet to tell Blucomon to get lost.
Personality
Blucomon is an energetic digimon with a very under-developed, childish view of the world around him. He only seems capable of seeing the good in others and can miss when people are petty or rude, especially if that pettiness or rudeness is directed towards him. He's also not great at realise when he's upset someone or overstepped their boundaries. If he feels someone's upset, he feels the best way to help them is to pest them, to do everything you can to make them happy, even when that person just wanted to be left alone.

+ Full of energy; never seems to get tired or lose enthusiasm
+ Warm and affectionate, even to people he's just met
+ Unwavering optimism; always able to see the best in bad situation
- Comes across as annoying to most people
- Overly trusting
- Doesn't really believe in himself
