Queen Tiana passed away shortly after the birth of her youngest daughter, having fallen Ill due to a complication with the child birth. In life Tiana was a kind and caring Queen with a voice many people found soothing. She married King Harold as a young adult. She came from a peasant family of entertainers, they often preformed during the castles events and it was from this that King Harold, then only the Prince, met and fell in love with her. Many were worried that her background would make it difficult for her to step into the roll of Queen, however those worries didn't stay for long. It seemed her former status made her a very down to earth and understanding Queen, who seemed to rub off on the King as well.[/hider]

King Harold, thanks in large part to his wife, became the Kingdom's kindest ruler in a long time. Up until Harold's rule the country was quickly moving toward a militant state. However Harold move the Kingdom into a much more peaceful state. Known for his benevolence the citizens of the Kingdom love there King. He makes a point to listen to the concerns of his people and acts upon those concerns with the best of his abilities. When Queen Tiana passed he became more closed off then he had been since inheriting the throne. It wasn't until the youngest was a toddler that King Harold returned to his former self, however there is a sadness in his eyes that many can see.[/hider]

Uriah has held the honor of court mage for nearly 20 years. He was brought in to test the princess Annalise when word spread of her hauntingly beautiful appearance might give way to matching magical abilities, and stayed when the second princess, Loreena, showed her skills. He tested each of the princesses that followed, but only Lore seemed to need his specialty teachings. He was a hard teacher, but he saw potential in his students, combining practical lessons with the wonder of magic.[/hider]
