Serena closed the door behind her and smiled at Chas then headed to the living room. But she paused just outside of it, not sure if she could see josh just then. Fearing he would see he monster. 

John lead Kay down the hallway then saw Chas’s look. He smirked weakly and muttered “bad morning…I’ll explain later…”
