"I'm going to try to heal her. But I'm not sure if it'll work." He said honestly. He walked over to Guin's body. There were probably better healers here in Asguard. He could have easily said he didn't have the skill for it. He didn't think he could make it worse, and he wanted to see if he could understand what was wrong. He knelt and placed his hands over Guin, not touching her, a soft orange glow reached out encasing Guin. Ed closed his eyes concentrating. It took several minutes and the orange glow had deepened until it became almost opaque then it started disappearing. Ed collapsed, catching himself before he could hit his head, but then letting himself lay down. Just on the ground. He even thought as he did it that it was ridiculous. But he didn't have the energy to stand up. If that didn't work he wouldn't be able to help Guin. She'd be stuck until someone who was much better with magic could fix it. "Try now Guin." He said. His voice felt faint to him and he hoped for a moment that he had actually said it out loud and not thought it. He shivered at the idea of having a telepathic conversation. When she returned she would find whatever Ed had tried, had worked.
