[@Alkanet] I'm a big fan of Debora! The only problem that I can see is that women were rarely in the police force in the 1920s. If they were, they certainly weren't front line officers, more likely working in administration, or as social workers, which doesn't seem to fit Debora. It wasn't until the 60s that women started to be able to take on more active roles in law enforcement. Of course, there is a (relatively) easy work around. Debora could easily be a private investigator, and have much the same skills and experience as she would as a police officer? Of course if you still want to keep her as a policewomen, then we can certainly find a way to make it work, just let me know.
