Caitlyn was once a hunter who did amazingly in battle, but after failing to uphold the vows of a hunter, the punishments of Artemis has made her incredibly antisocial, intimidating, and battle hardened. In most cases, she would not talk to people if she does not have to. 

Although underneath that facade is a girl who wants to right her wrongs and prove to herself that she is worthy of being around people. It is a work in progress but she is getting there. And even the smallest bits of progress makes her smile.[/sub][/indent][/color]

[color=silver][indent][sub]Caitlyn has a very typical backstory as a demigod, although she was born into a little bit more wealth than your average person. Her mother was an highly successful business woman in London, who basically gave her everything but never exactly raised her, but Caitlyn understood that her mother did this for her and for ones she cared about. Thus she did not mind growing up in the care of their butlers and maids.

When mother was not looking, Caitlyn would sneak trinkets and run by to the riverside adjacent to their house but still remained on their land and she would craft little things to help the fish by the lake since they told her about a bit of trash clogging up certain ways upstream and downstream. Caitlyn was full of energy and care when she was growing up, and she never regretted that, not even a little bit.

One day, while out by the riverside, a harpy swooped down and went to attack the young Caitlyn but not long after evading some of its attacks, a butler and a maid came and revealed themselves to be a satyr and a dryad respectively. They were her protectors, and they were able to repel the creature and took the young girl back to her mother, and the look on her mother's face after realising the day had finally come for Caitlyn to be sent to camp was something the young girl would never forget. They exchanged their heartfelt remarks and goodbyes, a forehead touch then one last "I love you, see you soon." before telling the protectors to take her to camp.

Surprisingly they got to camp unscathed, and the young Caitlyn stayed there for a good five years. It was this time in camp where she was claimed to be the daughter of Boreas but blessed by Hephaestus, it was during this time where she crafted her shield, Libra. One day, she was sent on a quest where she met Artemis on her journey who offered for her to join. After hours of thought pass, she accepted and is now a full pledged huntress.

Her time as a huntress were some of her best but memories of which she hopes to forget. She had two good friends by the name of Ana and Mikaela, the three always had each other's back until one faithful evening. The hunters were ambushed and were separated by a wall of fire. Their main threat was a manticore who stalked them in the forest of smoke and ash. They fought their hardest and was able to defeat the manticore but at the cost of Mikaela. The manticore's tail pierced her and she no way of stopping herself from dying, and Caitlyn could do no less than hold her as she died. 

Weeks of grief pass by, and Caitlyn was sure she was good to go. Ana and Caitlyn helped each other grieve and had gotten closer they relied on each other while serving under the goddess and would often be paired together since they synergised extremely well. But that synergy was not from just fighting. All it took was one kiss under the stars and moonlight and everything crumbled; Artmeis saw and stripped them both of their duties as a hunter, and they suffered her wrath. Artemis sent everything she had at the two as they ran to camp, and it was truly a miracle that they were able to fend for themselves. But one reckless night was all it took for it to end. An arrow pierced Ana's heart and Caitlyn had to watch someone else she was close to die in her arms. Artemis then sowed the seeds of making Caitlyn think it was her fault that Ana and Mikaela died, and once Caitlyn succumbed to that, she was left alone by Artemis, by the hunters, by her friends.

Alone.

She painstakingly made it back to camp and reinstated herself back in as a camper, but those memories continue to haunt her, and she was never the same again. 

She wishes to find solace once more, and atone for her sins, maybe these new sets of campers will change that.
