Several years ago, the Japanese government passed the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill, allowing nonhuman liminal races and humans to live and work together. Prior to this, world governments were aware of many of these races, be they harpies, lamiae, or lizardfolk, but covered up their existence because they believed the population wouldn't accept them. While there were several cases of hate crimes and harassment, as well as exploitation of loopholes in the bill, the integration of liminal species into human society was mostly successful. Other nations have followed in Japan's footsteps, to varying degrees of success.

However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Thanks to beureaucratic red tape, loopholes in the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill still haven't been amended, and crimes involving liminal races have been on the rise. The National Police Agency has decided to expand its Cultural Exchange Security and Monster Ops: Neutralization budget. A team of nonhuman individuals has been put together to deal with crimes committed by liminal races.

Hello! I hope this interest check did its job well. Of the anime I've watched, I really enjoyed Monster Musume, and as much as I enjoy the slice of life comedy harem romcom, the setting does present itself for some fantastic storytelling and exploring certain themes and elements in a more serious manner. This is the purpose. Interactions between humans and nonhumans, crimes, and tension between different races that are all out of their element in human society. We won't be completely giving up on some lighthearted comedy aspects, but the main goal of the RP is to explore the darker side of the Monster Musume world.

I'm seeking a small group of players (at max five other players) to play as a group of liminals working for Monster Operations: Neutralization. I'm looking to explore intercharacter dynamics for the sake of drama and humor, as well as confronting issues in the MonMusu world that may or may not reflect real world problems.
