They were about as much as she expected, following his gaze towards everyone he mentioned. “[color=a2d39c]You're certainly right about that last one. I’d have taken him to be serious from his armor.[/color]”

The conclusion he came to, she’d agree with him, even if some didn’t look the part. “[color=a2d39c]They have to be if whatever we’re dealing with was anything like last time. You think Kass and Aloy and Price are doing just fine back home?[/color]”

He wasn’t aware of the infection that turned the world upside down? He mentioned a shelter so it made her think that he was the same as then, a survivor. But if he was confused about there being an infection, maybe he was from a different version of her world.

She wouldn’t have believed him but when you’re supposed to be dead after being infected as well as being shot multiple times [i]and[/i] a kid was immune to said infection when everyone else in the world wasn’t, it did sound unbelievable but not [i]that[/i] unbelievable.

I’ve saved him from a few close calls, I’d say a little bit more than he has for me. Isn’t that right, Joel?[/color]” Bending down to reach her height, she looked at her face. “[color=964B00]I’m Tess but you probably heard that from your dad.[/color]”
