Emzie was certain that whoever this was they were still a droid. Dashing forward their path was blocked by the three destroyer droids. Their plan failed. 

However, not one to be deterred easily, Emzie released their blaster from its hidden compartment and shot at the figure behind the destroyer droids. The shot wasn't clean, but it still hit the figure. Maybe, Emzie thought, this would give a distraction for Raynor allowing the Jedi to join the fight with an upper hand. It would only work this once. Emzie had started them.
