Things were moving fast, people already taking to leadership. No issue for him, Cloud wasn't that sort of leader anyways. He knew where he would be, clearly the strike team. With his strength it would be useless to have him anywhere else. Plus... Sephiroth might be a pain in the ass, but Cloud can usually count on the fact he won't actually kill him or let him be killed. If Superman was so strong, maybe he could give Seph a run for his money. Either way, things would go so much easier if he was on the battle field.

Cloud had his arms cross, leaning on a wall as he nodded his head towards his sword. What else did he have to say? If no one could assume what he did based on his looks than they weren't that bright. Small man, big sword, it's very clear to him. Then again, everyone doubts him and his abilities. Wouldn't be the first time he was underestimated. The merc couldn't speak for his "friend" Sephiroth, but he assumed he'd end up on the same team. It's not like he would help them with information at all, the fact he's still tolerating all this is amazing. That's a lot of restraint for him, he'd expect some huge performance but instead the others are hogging the spot light.

Lucifer was staying towards the back, liking how much personal space he could have back there. His services could be used for a lot! But he could fly, was very durable, and also had super strength. So while he may not have the most fancy of powers, they would be enough to withstand Superman. Hopefully. Either way he could make things a lot easier, even if it meant taking a lot of damage. He was an angel after all! He could just sit back after and heal, it'll be fine...

The sooner he goes home the better, this was all nonsense but if things were that desperate then fine. Sometimes a hero lives to see their powers twist their world upside down, taint them and their soul and corrupt their very being. A sad sight, to witness a once loved protector turn into the prosecutor they once fought. Such is life though, nothing that wouldn't happen anyways. The tides of fate were cruel, but even the brightest of starts collapse. All that was left was to clean up after a cruel natural order. Fighting it only drags you down deeper, that much Lucifer has learned.
