Once he did, he felt the faint vibrations in the ground as the detonation shook its surroundings. This is why Abbott can never find a moment to rest. It's because of moments like these. Anyway, Abbott shakily rose from his feet. He was obviously uninjured, but the man was now pumped with adrenaline. Whipping his head toward the source of the blast, Abbott soon spotted a burning and partially collapsed building in the distance. It was far off to the other side of Metropolis, but Abbott could see it clearly thanks in part to the large pillar of smoke in the sky. As much as he wanted to, taking such a trip across the bustling city would be a pain in the ass. Without a car to drive, and roads surely clogged in response to the disaster, Abbott could only stare in distress. Abbott could walk (or run, more appropriately) but by the time he was there, the situation would likely be resolved.
