Ciri Interactions: [@StaidFoal], [@Thatguyinthestore], [@Pixxieblush], [@KageBaka], anyone else @ top

So he knew that girl from when he, Kass, Aloy, and the others went to Blood Gulch, made sense that the two would recognize each other. But putting that aside for the time being, seems like they’d be going on different teams, Corvo choosing tactical. “Yeah. I’ve never been good at staying silent, there have been many times fights have broken out due to my attempt at being silent had failed. Be careful, alright?” As for Bayonetta, her words told her that she didn’t recognize her but the look on her face and the tone in her voice said something else. Either she might’ve forgotten, she was from before the two of them met, or it was something else but until she could figure out what it was, it was best she wouldn’t bring up anything from the past. “You… could say that. I heard you were going on the strike team? If so, it’s best we’d get to know each other’s names. I’m Ciri.” Luthor’s answer to the question regarding Superman’s answer intrigued her but before she could ask if it was possible to get it, it seemed they ran out of it a while ago. So for now, they could only wait till everyone else had gone into their teams and then go on from there. All of this, the group and their situation of being trapped in another universe was very much reminding her of the last time people travelled out of their universe. And if it didn’t get any more nostalgic for her, something went wrong: a building had exploded. Stumbling a bit before catching herself quickly, she looked out the window to see half of a building remained and a person at the front of it matching the description of their target, her eyes widening upon seeing him. “Shit…” Once her eyes caught sight of the man, she turned and ran out the door, making her way down and out of the building.
Reaching the building, she watched as the man from earlier that punched Luthor in the face run right into the building followed by others going both into and up the building. Normally one with just a sword would be restricted to the bottom floor but luckily she wasn’t just some woman with a sword, she had her ways. Making her way into the building, she headed towards a door that she could see that had a sign for stairs while also pointing any civilians she came across towards the entrance. Once Ciri reached the door and made her way inside, she found the stairs were blocked by some rubble which was slightly disappointing. “Just my luck… if only Geralt was here with Aard.” The keyword was slightly as there was one way she could get through it: a simple Blink. Green energy surrounded her as she went through the rubble, going right through it and ending up on the other side of the rubble. She would continue to do this over and over whenever she’d come across rubble until she reached the top where her hand would go up to her sword and take it out, ready in case she and anyone else up at the top were attacked by Superman. Of course once she got up to the top and reached the door leading into the room, she took a glance to see if she could see anything and her eyes caught sight of the civilians crouching down but they weren’t the only people in the room. No, there were others with masks and guns, likely taking the opportunity to rob them or take hostages for whatever reason. Before she could run in there and take them on herself, that Penny girl flew into the room and freed the hostages, getting them out. But if she was focusing on the hostages, the men in masks would definitely attempt to start shooting at them. Opening the door with her free hand, she Blinked over to nearby cover, crouching behind it. If any of the men raised their guns and started to pull the trigger, she’d Blink in and cut off both of their hands, making sure they’d at least be alive for the authorities to handle and unable to open fire. If there was only one weakness and both her and Joel as well as anyone that only used guns fought him? Yeah they were pretty much screwed. Before anyone else could say or do anything, the foundation shook, catching Tess off guard as she stumbled. Luckily she caught herself — barely though as she almost fell over. Her head snapped towards the window to see something that made her eyes widened: an entire top half of a nearby building was just… gone. In front of it? Superman. Thankfully he didn’t look this way but there’d be others that weren’t so lucky when he got to the other side of the building. None of them could afford to stay there so she followed everyone else out the room and then out of the building.
Tess reached the building and before she could say or do anything, Joel ran in first which only caused her to sigh and take out her gun as well. Following her partner into the building very shortly afterwards, she kept a tight grip on her pistol. “We need to start getting anyone trapped under anything out first, Joel!” She looked around the room for anyone trapped, finding one woman trapped before Joel and two others had it covered before she started checking any rooms, covering her mouth and nose with her other arm as she coughed from the smoke. Finding no one else, she followed Joel and those on the ground floor deeper into the building. Of course as they kept walking, she’d peek into any rooms they were passing by before… They reached a hallway that went on forever. More importantly: an undamaged hallway. A voice sounded out, insane laughter coming from it, before it started speaking, Tess readying her gun in case she needed to aim and fire. “I don’t like this one bit. Looks like Superman ain’t the only one we need to worry about here. Keep an eye out.” Now Tess wasn’t one to get scared, living in essentially hell for the past twenty years would do that to you. Well that and dying after getting bit, becoming infected, but there was something about the voice that really wasn’t sitting well with her. For the time being, they needed to find a way out of here and without there being any smoke, she removed her arm from her nose and mouth and followed Joel and the others. Tess looked at both the doors they were passing as well as keeping an eye on anywhere that would let someone get the drop on them.
