Mainly, she’s smiling, always chuckling at something around her or on her phone. Her voice can be heard above others’ but not in a commanding way- she is just a bit loud at times due to excitement. She holds herself tall, until slightly embarrassed and then her shoulders slump forward in habit as her hands tend to emote self soothes gestures to distract herself. Around friends she in light, full of love and laughter, always one to go out of her way to help even if it means she is put into a less then brilliant situation. Her heart lies with dogs and the ocean. Her grandfather who she was very close to, was a fisherman in her hometown with stories of his travels, treasures and blunders. Her favorite story was that of a mermaid caught off shore- something her parents assured was a tall tale but the wink he gave her always told a different story. She will sing to herself on occasion- her voice isn’t amazing but she can carry a sea shanty tone well enough to get others joining in. Cara’s heart is her biggest strength and weakness- that everyone knows. She’s loves hard and on occasion that gets her heart shattered. But she knows how to fix it with a good walk on the beach along her Golden Retriever named Venice. [b]History: [/b]Born and raised in a small fishing town Cara grew up knowing everyone and what their business was. They all knew hers in return. But when she traveled away to university, her world was opened ten fold and she discovered herself. She was stronger than imagined, capable of holding her own in a fight and not at all destined to live in the city. Small town charms made her desirable to some of the boys on campus- girls too and she explored that side of her four years with the ultimate outcome of “Somewhere in the middle…” as she described it to her friends. Now back home she has an apartment on the heart of town with Venice who comes to work with her at the YMCA where she teaches after school sports classes four times a week. He is always a big hit with the staff and the kids. [/hider]
