[b]Backstory:[/b]

Before the outbreak Amelia served on board a Royal Navy ship as a Regiment Gunner. Her job was never to serve on the front lines, but to instead defend locations and bases set up by the British and US army. However prior to joining the gunners, Amelia had graduated from a military college which allowed her to join as an officer rather than a private. From there Amelia began her career in service and managed to climb ranks through hard work and perseverance, eventually reaching the rank of Sub Lieutenant. She seemed to posses desirable skills such as social people skills and a mixture of languages which helped to translate to multicultural atmospheres. Her combat prowess, while lacking in comparison to her social skills were soon honed to an acceptable standard which was when she was selected for a Division Officers position. She was offered more training after that which would support her new role, being taught various techniques and skills which would allow her to be prepared for where she would be heading. Once her rotation was finished at her current posting, she was then flown to New York to help contain the situation which had transpired. Her superiors believed her multiple skills with social aspects would prove helpful in communicating with the people within the city. [/center]
