It looks like Shantae and Lilith's idea worked, once the masks came off for the separate individuals they immediately stopped attacking and were free from The Hatter's curse. One by one The Hatter's henchman drifted away from his control and you could guess that he was pretty livid about this, demanding that they stop this nonsense immediately, but obviously they weren't going to listen to this wacko, and just in case Lilith decided to check up on Shantae to see how she's holding up.
