Colonel Jean "Mama Bear" Teleabi, 55, South African Bio: As sure as Old McDonald has a farm and Johnny Law has a badge, Jean Teleabi has command of a squad of contract killers employed by the Erinys International Security Company. Teleabi, along with the three subordinates in his squad -- altogether nicknamed the Teletubbies within the private contracting community -- fulfill every stereotype and trope associated with mercenaries; they are each ex-military, globe-trotting, hard-drinking, rooting and tooting sons of bitches. The good colonel Mama Bear is no exception. Among his accolades are gunning down Namibians in the Angolan Bushwars, burning down huts in Sierra Leone during the 90's, and launching mortars throughout most of Southern Afghanistan for most of the past decade. Now, he and his band of merry men find themselves in Al Mitras for business as usual. Lieutenant Colonel Mzamo "Disco" Van Wyck, 39, South African Bio: Mzamo is the closest thing to "sensitive" a mercenary can be. He enjoys soccer games, tropical fruits, and the skinniest, most strung-out, waifish prostitutes money can seemingly buy. He plays harmonica, speaks with a noticeable lisp, and once shot a man dead in front of his mother for striking a dog. After fighting under Jean Teleabi in Somalia, Van Wyck signed away his soul with Erinys and has been fighting in various wars and conflicts ever since. Major Hugo "People-Eater" Guichard, 37, French Bio: Like most mercenaries, Hugo is ex-military and was nowhere near attaining his current rank when he last wore a recognized uniform. Before he was Major People-Eater within Erinys International, he was Sous-lieutenant Hugo Guichard of the French Army, discharged on the grounds of temperamental unsuitability. He enjoys violence in all its forms, be it professional, sexual, or domestic, and has lived the sort of brutal life where his current employment as a killer-for-hire in the Middle East could only be described as the most logical, intuitive next step. Captain Sacha "Snowman" Smirnov, 40, Russian Bio: Sacha speaks virtually none of the shared languages of his brothers in arms, mostly communicating in gestures, pantomime, and sound effects. He has a similarly long history of armed violence in conflicts throughout Crimea, Ukraine, and Central Africa, though the extent of his service is only understood in his retellings, which are largely impressions of gunfire and bombs dropping. He wears a white bandanna over his head to mitigate how exceedingly sweaty he is, and unlike a Snowman, is visibly sunburnt at almost all times.
