"Hi, my name is Jacob Royce, and I'm from West Virginia in America. I like stuff with computers, reading books on magic and I'm... Kinda quiet I guess." Jacob stood in front of a highschool class, finishing with the usual forced introduction in front of a silent and mostly disinterested class of students. The short young man stood just a little nervously in the front, running a single hand through his short black hair as the teacher tapped a pen on his desk. "Alright class, does anyone have questions for mister Royce?" He spoke in a clear tone, scanning the teenagers beyond him slowly before continuing. "If there aren't any questions, take your seat in the back mister Royce, we're all very excited to have you with us today." Jacob nodded and said, "Thank you Mr. Sato." Before he walked to his seat and sat down with a little sigh. He opened the book he was instructed to get out, a small writing pad beside it for jotting down thoughts and the occasional line of poetry. The class passed uneventfully and Jacob got up when the bell rang, walking to his locker where his 'neighbors' were already waiting. The small crowd stood, accessing their own lockers or talking with friends. He crouched and got into his locker, quickly finished his business within and stood. However, when he turned to go he bumped into someone and was immediately shoved into the nearby locker as someone laughed. "Watch where you're going small fry." A tall young man stood in front of him, arms crossed and a smirk painted across his face. "Uh, sorry..." Jacob muttered, glaring at the boy before he turned to leave. The other's hand flashed out, striking the locker in front of Jacob to bar his exit. "I don't think I like your tone..." He mocked, leaning in close to Jacob's face. "Apologize again." "Come on, leave the new kid alone!" Someone spoke up, but nobody stepped forward to actually help Jacob, so of course it had no effect. Jacob however just glared at the other kid, his gaze even and annoyed. "I already apologized. You can go fuck yourself." The bully laughed for a second before he backed up off of his victim. "Alright... I'll remember that..." Jacob watched him go and sighed, shaking his head as he left the school.
