[b]Background:[/b] His parents had him late in their lives, and as such considered him their miracle child. Both were heavily religious. His father passed away unexpectedly when he was young and his mother a few years later after a long slow battle with an illness. After that he had to make it on his own. He had some support but while loving, his family was poor, especially after cost of all the medical care, and he was left with little. He worked hard and studied harder, giving up much of what he enjoyed to try and make ends meet.
